Tout au long de la semaine, plusieurs initiatives ont été mises en œuvre afin de promouvoir le bien-être, l’engagement social et le partage d’expériences. Les activités ont débuté par une marche sportive reliant l’immeuble siège de l’entreprise au Club CAMTEL. Ce moment de détente et de cohésion s’est poursuivi autour de rafraîchissements et d’activités sportives, notamment des rencontres de handball et de basketball opposant les directeurs au personnel féminin. Des séances de massage et de relaxation ont également été proposées, contribuant à la promotion du bien-être au travail et au renforcement de l’esprit d’équipe.
Dans le cadre de leur engagement social, les collaboratrices de CAMTEL ont pris part à une activité d’investissement humain avant d’effectuer une visite de solidarité à l’orphelinat Fondation Famille Chrétienne (FACT). Cette initiative, ponctuée de dons, a permis d’apporter un soutien concret aux enfants de la structure.
Throughout the week, several initiatives were implemented to promote well-being, social engagement, and the sharing of experiences. Activities began with a fitness walk connecting the company’s headquarters to the CAMTEL Club. This moment of relaxation and team building continued with refreshments and sporting events, including handball and basketball matches between directors and female staff. Massage and relaxation sessions were also offered, contributing to workplace well-being and strengthening team spirit.
As part of their social engagement, CAMTEL’s female employees took part in a human investment initiative before visiting the Fondation Famille Chrétienne (FACT) orphanage. This solidarity visit, accompanied by donations, provided tangible support to the children at the facility.

Cette rencontre a constitué un cadre d’échanges sur les enjeux liés à la promotion de l’égalité des chances, à l’autonomisation des femmes et à leur contribution au développement.

The week also featured an educational talk held in the headquarters’ hall on the international theme: “Rights, Justice, Action: for ALL women and girls.” This session provided a platform for discussion on issues related to promoting equal opportunities, women’s empowerment, and their contribution to development.

La dimension culturelle et gastronomique de la célébration a été mise à l’honneur au Club CAMTEL, où les participantes ont présenté des mets locaux, décoré des stands et proposé diverses animations culturelles. Défilés de mode et danses traditionnelles ont ainsi permis de mettre en valeur la richesse du patrimoine culturel et le savoir-faire des collaboratrices de l’entreprise.

Dans une ambiance festive et empreinte de fierté, elles ont défilé avec élégance devant la Première Dame, Madame Chantal Biya, témoignant ainsi de la contribution déterminante des femmes au développement de l’entreprise et du secteur des télécommunications.
Les festivités se sont achevées au Club CAMTEL lors d’une soirée conviviale organisée par la Direction générale. Cette rencontre a été marquée par des allocutions, la remise de distinctions à plusieurs collaboratrices et des prestations artistiques, notamment celles de l’humoriste Edoudoua Non Glacé et du chanteur François Misse Ngoh.

The highlight of the week was the participation of CAMTEL’s women in the official 8 March-past on the 20 May Boulevard in Yaounde. In a festive and proud atmosphere, they marched with elegance in the presence of the First Lady, Mrs. Chantal Biya, demonstrating the decisive contribution of women to the company’s growth and the telecommunications sector.
The celebrations concluded at the CAMTEL Club with an evening hosted by the General Management. The event included speeches, the presentation of awards to several employees, and artistic performances, notably by comedian Edoudoua Non Glacé and singer François Misse Ngoh.
Through this week of activities, CAMTEL reaffirms its commitment to promoting female leadership and recognizing the valuable contribution of women within the company.
