problems and challenges.

ready to face even tougher challenges. Our ability to tackle and overcome our current challenges lies in the foundation we have laid. Yes, we are proud to say we have laid a solid foundation to make Camtel an attractive labour market.
With over 500 young Cameroonians recruited at Camtel in 2025, we have laid a solid foundation not only for 2026 but for years to come. This relentless drive to give young Cameroonians a chance and integrate them into the job market is in strict compliance with the Head of State’s directives as re-echoed in his address to the youth on February 10, 2026:
“I promised you in my recent speeches, that your integration into the labour market would be one of the main priorities of this seven-year term….. My objective is to offer as many of you as possible
the opportunity to access quality training, that will enable you not only to find jobs, but also to create them.”
Camtel has put together the human resources necessary to scale new heights. Material development is also top of our priority.
That is why in 2026, we will take a step further to fasttrack our Mobile Network Expansion project that seeks to connect every Cameroonian to the fastest growing network in Cameroon…blue.
The recent signing of a loan agreement with a conglomerate of local banks led by the Commercial Bank of Cameroon-CBC underscores our commitment to give full flesh to this project that is already in progress in several towns across the country

Deploy, operate, and maintain a nationwide transport and access infrastructure (optical fibre, leased lines, VSAT) to ensure resilient connectivity for operators, businesses, and communities.
Telecom & Broadband Services
Market landline and mobile services (branded), FTTH/broadband offers, and professional solutions such as leased lines, hosting, and cloud services.
Digital Access & Inclusion
Promote digital inclusion by implementing programmes and partnerships that foster broadband penetration in both rural and urban areas.
Digital Sovereignty & Security
Contribute to Cameroon’s digital sovereignty and infrastructure security by operating the national backbone network and collaborating with authorities to safeguard critical assets.
