CAMTEL AND MINTOUL SIGN A CONVENTION
CAMTEL has joined forces with the Ministry of Tourism and Leisure to give a digital push to Cameroon's tourism. The two parties signed an agreement on Thursday, September 18, in Yaounde, with CAMTEL committing to deploy its Internet network, fiber optic backbone, and data center to promote Cameroon as a top destination.

By Order No. 0000015/MINFI of 13 August 2026 establishing the classification of public enterprises by category on the basis of performance for the 2022, 2023 and 2024 financial years, CAMTEL has been reclassified as a first-category public enterprise.
