Fixed Wireline

The wireline phone, which is one of the oldest services marketed by CAMTEL, is designed on the principle of switching circuits. The fixed phone is the opposite of the mobile phone. Unlike the mobile phone, it does not work anywhere. Even when it is wireless, it cannot be taken out of the house despite its portability.

Features


The wireline phone is made up of a pair of copper cables from the subscriber's home to the telephone exchange. A handset is plugged into a phone jack to establish connection between the user and their operator's exchange.

NO limit

All residential customers, who receive bills for maintenance costs only, pay 10 000 CFAF monthly instead of 15 000 CFAF, including maintenance costs.
